Autumn Leaves Bar Soap

Cool air moving through a stand of turning trees. It opens on green stem, lemon and cedar leaf, settles into spiced apple and pine wrapped in dry fallen leaf, and finishes on earthy musk and dried herbs. The tallow base gives you a genuinely hard bar that keeps its edges through weeks of daily use instead of turning to mush on the dish, while coconut oil builds fast bubbly lather and castor oil holds that lather dense and creamy rather than letting it collapse. Sunflower oil and a touch of sugar round out the feel, and sodium gluconate keeps the oils from going off so the bar stays true from first use to last.
