colorful concrete soap dish and candle vessels

From soap dishes to candles: how concrete took over my workshop

I’ve been looking for a way to make Serrenta candles unique, not just in scent, but in how they look and feel. All my other products come in customized boxes, unique designs, and beautiful labels. My candles? Still sitting in the usual glass jar. I tried to dress them up with colored waxes and different labels, but at the end of the day, it was still a boring old jar.

My customers know my candles come in amazing scents and are genuinely high quality, but do they look like it? Honestly, I wasn’t sure.

It all started with me wanting to make unique soap dishes, and landing on concrete: earthy, everlasting, and a perfect fit for Serrenta’s branding. The soap dishes have been a huge hit at markets, with amazing feedback. Then other shapes and a million different molds just happened to show up at my house. (LOL.)

After a lot of experimenting (and a lot of fun), I’ve decided: concrete is my new medium for candles. With my own colors and designs, plus the safety and heat resistance that comes with concrete, Serrenta candles are about to get a big upgrade. No more worrying about a jar shattering or wax rings on your furniture. They’ll still smell amazing and burn clean, just safer, sturdier, and unlike anything else out there.

And here’s a little treat while you wait: buy 2 candles, get 1 free, now through July 30. It’s my way of saying thank you for loving these candles as much as I do, before the new ones take over. Orders over $75 still ship free, as always.
